Food | Hydration

We  believe that every resident in our home has the right to a varied and nutritious diet that provides for all of their dietary needs and offers health, choice and pleasure. To ensure this happens every resident will be asked for their individual food preferences as well as their cultural, religious or health needs and these will be taken into account when planning menus.

Menus will offer a choice of foods and residents  will be asked which choice they would prefer at every meal. We will always honour of our way to ensure our residents wants are respected. Food is such an important part of our life’s.

Menus will be reviewed on a weekly basis and feedback from residents  carers and families will be sort.

Menus will be changed regularly to stimulate appetite

Hydration is so important as we age , and as a care home we acknowledge this and do all we can to ensure our residents are offered as much hydration as possible . We rely on offering different types of hydration , and listen to our residents and what they like to drink .
